In recent weeks, the North Lake Improvement team inspected the condition of the weeds in North Lake. The improvement team includes: Kieser & Associates, LLC personnel, lake managers, the county administrator, and NLPA personnel. Significant milfoil and elodea growth in many sections of the lake were observed. As a result, a treatment plan has been developed. You may view the map of sites to be treated HERE. Sites will be posted on Tuesday, May 28th with treatment planned for Wednesday, May 29th. The map covers the shoreline areas where dense milfoil (EWM) populations, and the shallow channels with milfoil and curly leaf pondweed (CLP) were discovered. In total there are about 33 treatment acres.
