Cooperative Lakes Monitoring Program (CLMP)

Independent water quality monitoring is conducted by NLPA through a trained cadre of volunteers in association with contracted environmental scientists and engineers.  For almost 40 years, NLPA has recorded measurements to assess conditions of North Lake water and vegetation types and extents. The goals of this monitoring are to guide summer treatments of invasive plants and to see if there are any changes or trends in water quality.
