The annual North Lake fireworks display will light up our skies again this summer on July 5th, continuing a beloved tradition that brings our community together. This event, now officially named the David B. Steinbach Memorial Fireworks, honors the man whose dedication, energy, and love for North Lake made these celebrations possible for so many years.
Last year marked the first time the fireworks were organized without Dave at the helm. His absence was deeply felt, but the beauty of the show and the joy on the faces of neighbors and friends reminded us just how powerful his legacy is. Dave’s gift was bringing people together—whether around a bonfire, a wild game feast, or under a sky full of fireworks.
As we prepare for this year’s display, we ask for your support to keep this tradition alive. The fireworks are funded entirely by donations from North Lake residents and friends. Your contribution, no matter the amount, helps us celebrate in the way Dave would have loved—with community, laughter, and pride in the place we call home.
Please consider donating to help cover the cost of the fireworks. Details on how to contribute can be found on the posters displayed around North Lake and with this post.
Let’s honor Dave’s memory with another spectacular night at the lake—together.
