Our annual meeting on September 29 brought together a great mix of neighbors and Goose Lake friends to catch up on what’s happening around North Lake. The big takeaway? Our lake is in great shape! Water quality remains strong, weed control efforts are working, and this year’s vegetation surveys showed the highest biodiversity in five years.
There was a new late-summer algae bloom this season, but county testing confirmed it was non-toxic. We’ll keep an eye on it going forward. The group also talked through bylaw updates, reviewed the association’s finances, and elected our 2025–26 NLPA officers.
