The NLPA Board met on October 6 to begin transitioning roles following the recent annual meeting and to discuss ways to improve communication and member engagement.
Key topics included:
- Transfer of Responsibilities – Several long-time volunteers will be stepping back from roles, including website management and The Laker publication. Plans are in place to transfer these duties.
- Improving Communication – The board discussed the importance of more frequent updates to members, potentially through email, website notices, and outreach by landing representatives.
- Website & Records – The annual meeting minutes and Treasurer’s Report are now available on the NLPA website for all members to review.
A follow-up letter to members will be sent soon inviting volunteers and encouraging greater participation.
